Excellent quality English Regency breakfast or centre table. The Rosewood has taken on an exceptional, mellow colour to the top. Standing on a large Gun barrel pedestal and three feet with inset castors.
Stamped “W&C Wilkinson, 14 Ludgate Hill” with the patent number also stamped. The firm of William and Charles Wilkinson began stamping their furniture as such around 1830 after Charles joined the firm. Previously, furniture was stamped ‘WILKINSON, LUDGATE HILL’ to c.1820 then ‘WILKINSON & SONS 14 LUDGATE HILL’ to c.1830.
