Exceptional Pair of 18th c. Northern Italian Marquetry Bedside Cupboards

A truly exceptional pair of Northern Italian Marquetry bedside cupboards from the late 18th century. Almost certainly made in Milan by an accomplished cabinet maker, the marquetry has some of the trademarks of the celebrated cabinetmaker Giuseppe Maggiolini (1738-1814).
Remarkable quality and a desirable size, these are a statement piece that will anchor any room.
Scattered veneer repairs, some minor splitting and losses but in good, sturdy condition for their age.
