Large 18th Century Carved Statue of the Virgin Mary

Exceptionally large carved statue of the Virgin Mary holding a dove.
Of an imposing size at 42” tall and very dense, the quality and depth of the carving is impressive.
Possibly served an ecclesiastical purpose with the cut out in the top of her head.
