Mid 18th Century English Provincial Chest on Stand

Of very rare, almost diminutive proportions. This English chest on stand dates from the mid 18th century and was likely an estate made piece, meaning it would have been made on a country estate by the local carpenter rather than by a trained cabinetmaker.
The stand features a delicately shaped apron on all three sides and stands proudly on short, straight pad feet.
The drawers are all cross banded and slide beautifully.
