A rare pair of period Chinese Chippendale side chairs, c. 1760. Upholstered in a lovely silk damask, these chairs are in great condition.
Originally part of a larger suite of chairs, probably 8 or 12, commissioned for the dining room of a large house - both chairs stamped with their number, III and VII respectively.
